The best part of today is that after tomorrow I do not have to see any more political ads for another year and a half. All you PAC's and politicians can suck on deez nutz. Also if I see a single fucking post on politics beyond oh gee this person won yay or nay on Wednesday on Facebook that person is getting culled from my friend list.

Fun one in Michigan, a vote that went out during the primary election state wide to cut a tax that helps support schools passed through the whole state and technically results in about a billion $ tax cut to schools. Which the governor said (and it's in the legislation that passed so that shit's in writing) that the money cut by schools would be covered by the state. Basically it stopped screwing small businesses and even large businesses and the schools are still getting their money

they are of course only focusing on the "cut to schools"

ugh, yeah we have a slightly different agenda. Question one is about whether we should continue to allow bear baiting during black bear hunting season. According to almost every biologist in the state, the bureau of inland fisheries and hunting, and everyone with half a brain says that when you bait bears, they suffer less and keeps the population in check. Go bag a bear at the bait location and you are getting a clean shot. The opposition is a bunch of fruity hippies that say it should be a "fair" hunt which is almost impossible to do and get a clean shot in. Their ad running on TV is a bear dying from a gunshot wound slowly, which is exactly why we allow baiting. It is super sad and that is all the opposition has going for it. Eco scare tactics. Fuck those hippies

He's corrupt and way too liberal for me. But he's done a ton for Buffalo and the city's made more progress in th last four years than it has in decades, so he's earned my vote. (I'm not into guns, so the SAFE act isn't a big deal for me)
